Trail Runner Magazine, based in Carbondale, Colorado, recently announced its 2010 National Trophy Series. The Navarino Eco-Marathon and the Tahqua 25K Trail Run  were both chosen for the series. Runners across North America compete for Trophy Series Championship by running in the chosen events. Great Lakes Endurance has qualified at least two events per year since the Trophy Series was initiated five years ago. “Selection to the Trail Runner Magazine Trophy Series always brings in runners from outside the midwest who are competing for the national title. It provides excellent exposure for our events, and feedback from these runners has always been positive, especially in regard to the quality of trails in the Upper Great Lakes region,” noted GLE race director Jeff Crumbaugh. Registration is now available for both the Navarino Eco-Marathon & Half Marathon and the Tahqua Trail Run.
