Described as both beautiful and brutal, the demanding half marathon course challenged 134 finishers from 16 U.S. states and Ontario, Canada. Complete results are now available. Alex Feravich of Cedar Springs, MI captured the overall title in a blazing fast 1:29:03.  Justin Walker of Mecosta, MI was 3 minutes back in 1:32:08 while Nigel Mika, a student at University of St. Andrews in Scotland, completed the men's podium, finishing in 1:36:49.

 

Abby McIntyre of Grand Rapids won the women's overall title in 1:55:30.  Just three minutes back, Bethany Seiter of Gary, SD cruised to a 2nd place overall place in 1:58:35.  Completing the women's podium was Laura Piskor, hailing from Blue Island, IL.  Piskor covered the half marathon course in 2:00:04.  

 

The Two Hearted witnessed a 59 year age span amongst its participants.  Ian Ohm of Ann Arbor at 15 was the youngest while George Aronholt of Akron, OH was the elder of the field at 74.
