The Waugoshance Trail Run (all events) has reached capacity.  Registration has been vigorous and has exceeded expectations.  We are excited to announce that runners will be attending from 22 states, Canada and Singapore.  A basic map with aid station locations is now available.  Packet pick up will take place at the Holiday Inn Express from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. on July 13.  Also on Friday, the Kid's 2K (5:30 pm) and the 5K (6:00 pm) will take place at Wilderness State Park.  Both races start in the grassy area near the Amphitheater.  Burr Mitchell will present a program on the flora and fauna of Wilderness State Park at 7:00 p.m at the Holiday Inn Express.  His presentation will be followed by a program (7:30 p.m.)  by Thomas Bailey of the Little Traverse Conservancy.  He will be describing  the conservancy's efforts to preserve land in northwest Michigan.  Runners will pick up their bus to the start of each race at the Mackinaw City High School.  The marathon buses leave at 5:30 am and the Half Marathon Buses leave at 7:00 a.m.  The race finish is only 3-4 blocks away from the high school parking lot where runners can pick up their vehicles.  More detailed logistics will be available at packet pick up.
